I don’t know if you’ve seen this or not, but it is pretty awesome. It has been making the rounds of the aviation community for a little bit now and I thought I might post it up here.
There’s a group called St Clair Photo Imaging that has done a 360 degree panorama of the cockpit of a P-51. It’s very well done and offers a unique look behind the scenes of the iconic P-51. It’s a little large and takes a little time to load, but once it’s loaded, feel free to pan around the high-resolution full color cockpit. You can also look up and down and zoom in and out. In short it’s like sitting in a P-51 except there is very little chance you can fly this one.

Hello, my name is Matt Everett and as of 1/1/2010 I am a private pilot ASEL. I started this blog early in my training and used it primarily as a place to keep notes of my lessons. Since then it has grown to much more than that, but my main focus is still on aviation experiences. It is my sincerest hope that this blog is a resource for others as much as it is a resource for me.
