Why I Love the Cessna 172

No Comments 23 June 2010

The 172 as a model has been around since the mid 1950s.  In the more than 50 years since surprisingly few things have changed. The Cessna 172 is arguably one of the most popular training aircraft around and you'd be hard pressed to find an airport that isn't home to at least one.... Read more »

My parents recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.  They aren't big on gifts and things.  Well, long story short, Mom got a new convertible this year that she's calling a gift and she wanted to do something special for Dad.  What could be more special than a first flight?  How about your son being the... About the author

Hello, my name is Matt Everett and as of 1/1/2010 I am a private pilot ASEL. I started this blog early in my training and used it primarily as a place to keep notes of my lessons. Since then it has grown to much more than that, but my main focus is still on aviation experiences. It is my sincerest hope that this blog is a resource for others as much as it is a resource for me.
