I don’t want you to think I’m turning this into some kind of Youtube aggregator, but after reading about this aircraft on AvWeb and hearing about it on Uncontrolled Airspace (I think), I just have to post this. It’s the Woopy-Fly. The page is in French, so be warned that unless you read French you might not know what they are talking about.
Very interesting to say the least. Before watching the video, I wondered about the wing structure and what would happen if it tore. If it works as the video claims, this might be a fun thing to have especially given its portability. It would certainly make those bad traffic days seem less problematic.
Be sure to check out the page even if you don’t speak/read French because there are plenty of videos and images of the aircraft.
