I think I’m going to have to work on my schedule. I enrolled in the online scheduling and it looks like Josh and the plane are booked pretty much solid for almost the next two weeks. I managed to slip in on Friday afternoon. Hopefully I can work out a schedule further in advance. Its kind of a mixed bag. On the one hand I want the flight school and specifically my instructor to do well so that they stick around, but on the other hand I liked being able to schedule less than a week or two ahead of time.
Something else that worries me is the finances. I did the math on one lesson (I know I shouldn’t have) and they are pretty expensive. It makes me feel a little guilty because I like doing it so much. I keep talking to my wife and she is all for it, but it makes me feel bad that she might be sacrificing for me to do something fun. I thought this was where my degree paid off? So far I’m not seeing much return on investment there.
