Hello again. I feel I owe everyone an apology for going silent over the last little bit, but time just got away from me. Anyway, in an effort to be more organized and get more content and better content out on a regular basis, I’m implementing a new editorial calendar and creating a number of themed days. I’m really excited about this and I feel like it will improve the overall feel of the blog. I will discuss this more tomorrow, but for now I want to move onto the first Movie Monday post, which is a couple of videos that I found on Youtube. These two videos, by user ThreeNineLine, don’t have a ton of views, but they are definitely worth the 20 minutes it will take to watch them. Be sure to check out some of his other videos when you get a chance, they’re all really good.
The first is called The Dream of Flight and runs about 8 minutes.
The second is from the F22 Raptor demo at the 2008 NAS Oceana air-show. If you can spare the bandwidth, definitely watch it in HD. It runs closer to 10 minutes, but it is 10 minutes of the magnificent F22 Raptor tearing up the skies at the hands of Major Paul “Max” Moga. It’s second only to actually being there watching the demo, well okay it’s third – being in the plane itself takes top honors.
