I was prowling around on Youtube and I found a very compelling demo reel for a reality TV show. It has bush flying, rustic Alaskan scenery, and best of all women pilots. It was posted in February of this year and according to the poster, they are supposed to be shooting this month. I don’t know if they got picked up, but I really hope they did. A show like this is good press for aviation and it is always nice to see women pilots.
Most of the flying is in a Cessna 206, but there are a few scenes of a Caravan. I particularly enjoy those two aircraft. Probably the best part of the video is the 206 landing on a beach. It starts about the 5 minute mark. It’s a pretty spectacular landing. I can’t recommend their parking strategy as the plane becomes stuck in the sand, but they get it out eventually. Just to state the somewhat obvious I’d love to go flying in a 206 or a Caravan. Anyway, on to the video.
